The Fundación de Apoyo y Vigilancia Pro- Mejoramiento del Hospital San Lorenzo is a nonprofit organization located in the city of San Lorenzo, Valle, southern Honduras, dedicated to raise funds to improve the hospital. It was legally established on April 27, 2007. We work focusing in 3 objectives.

1. Guarantee a humane and quality service to the patients.
2. Empower the community in its healthcare services responsibilities.
3. Achieve the hospital certification of services.

Our characteristic is the rapidness and efficiency to implement changes that positively
affect the hospital staff and users. Through the collaboration of public and private donors
and successful fundraisers the foundation has achieved the reconstruction and
renovation of almost all areas in the hospital where patients are treated, however there
are still other important areas to improve and then achieve our goal of making the
Hospital of San Lorenzo the best Public hospital in the country.
